To not get hoaxed, you first have to know how to find one.
Fishing Wire
Fishing wire is a very popular form of hoaxing, and it can be hard to see on video due to its small size. Most likely if you're going to catch it you have to know it's tendencies and the logistics of it.
First thing you need to know is that fishing wire is used for moving, turning, and lifting things. Second thing you need to know is how it looks when fishing wire is used to move, turn, or lift things. When it coves to moving, whatever is being moved only moves in one general direction, and that direction is generally one this is off camera, the reason for that is because someone off-screen needs to be pulling it. Keep an eye out for objects changing direction slightly, it is not impossible for someone to move were they are holding the wire, then pull again to change the direction slightly. When it comes to turning it normally involves something that has a heavier side and a lighter side, the lighter side is the one being pulled, the heavier side is the one keeping it from moving forward/backwards. Normally when it comes to turning with a string it will normally turn jerkily or in one fast motion, sometimes slow but it is harder to turn it slow without it being jerky. So keep an eye out because you never know when someone is trying to pull one over on you. But remember a lot of this is for entertainment and not meant to be taken too seriously. |
